Founded in 1966 by Late Rambilas Nakipuria and Shri Subhash Chand Nakipuria, Rambilas Ratanlal has grown from a local tea trading firm in Siliguri into a trusted exporter serving customers across India, Kuwait, and London.

Rambilas Ratanlal is founded in Siliguri, West Bengal by Late Rambilas Nakipuria and Shri Subhash Chand Nakipuria with a vision to deliver quality tea at affordable prices.
Early Years
The firm establishes itself as a trusted name in local tea trade, sourcing from North Bengal and Assam gardens through the Siliguri Tea Auction.
Brand Launch
Kalash Tea is launched as the flagship premium CTC brand, followed by Sonal Tea for the everyday consumer. Two names, one promise of quality.
Certifications
Rambilas Ratanlal achieves ISO Certification, FSSAI approval, and registers its trademark formal recognition of quality standards maintained since inception.

FROM GARDEN TO CUP

Sourcing
We receive samples from tea gardens across North Bengal and Assam and evaluate them rigorously.

Each sample is tested for quality, colour, and taste. Approved only if it meets our exacting standards.

Procurement
Approved teas are purchased through the Siliguri Tea Auction for direct sourcing at the best price.

Blending
Teas are expertly blended to achieve the consistent flavour and strength our customers know and trust.

Quality & Pack
Final blend is re-checked by liquor test, then packed fresh and dispatched to customers.
